Champaner - Gujarat

Champaner (Champaner شمبنر; Muhammadabad) is a historic city in the state of Gujarat in western India. The Panchmahal district, 47 kilometers from the city of Vadodara is located. The city was briefly the capital of Gujarat.

The Vanraj Chavda, Chavda dynasty in the 8th century by the most prominent king, was established. He also later known as Champaraj his friend and general Champa, named it after the name.
